You will be contacted a week before the online theory with final details. \n\n\n\nDate\nTime\nSubject\nVenue\n\n\nSun 29 Mar 2026\nTBC\nOnline Theory & Exam\nZoom Meeting\n\n\nSun 19 Apr 2026\n8am (tbc)\n*Short Seminar and recap\nPerdiswell Leisure Centre\, Worcester\n\n\n8.30am (tbc)\nPractical Assessments†\n\n\n\n*Candidates who pass the theory exam will then do a practical assessment as part of the competition.\n†You may be required to stay until the conclusion of the event. \nDress Code: Smart dress\, e.g. shirt with collar or similar (no jeans). \nThe course will be run by Lynne Melia\, a former FIE referee\, British Fencing  accredited Referee Instructor and Mentor. Applicants must be current members of British Fencing and have a good knowledge of foil with competitive experience. The course will be run with theory preparation and exam a week before via Zoom. On the day of the practical assessments\, a short seminar will take place before to answer last minute questions.  You do not need level 1 foil to join this course.
