Referee Course – Sabre Level 2

Theory course with exam from 8.15am

Practical Assessment will follow the theory exam for those who have passed.

Dress Code: Suit, shirt with collar or similar.

The course will be run by Michael Selig, an experienced FIE referee and British Fencing accredited Referee Instructor and Mentor. Applicants must be current members of British Fencing and have a good knowledge of sabre with competitive experience. The course will be run with a theory session in the morning and practical assessment in the afternoon as part of the sabre event. Candidates who pass the theory exam will do a practical assessment which will follow the exams as part of the competition. You do not level 1 sabre to join this course.

The course has a maximum of 12 applicants. Applications are on a first come first served basis when fully paid.

BF Membership must be valid at the time of the course. The minimum level required is 'Supporter'. If you also fence, then ensure you have the correct level of membership.
