Referee Course – Epee Level 2

The session is 3 hours long, and will run from 1pm-4pm. It is theory only; we will attempt to provide some practice time afterwards but haven’t been able to confirm a suitable space at this time, so cannot promise any just now. If we do, there will be no extra charge. We will give advance notice if we are able to do this, so that some fencers can opt to bring kit and spar while others practice refereeing.

There is no minimum age to attend this course; however please note that there is a minimum age to be assessed for the L2 referee qualification, which is 12 years old. Younger attendees will still gain useful skills from this course. Assessment happens separately (you will be provided information during the course on how and when you can get assessed).
