| Competition Format: | Two rounds of poules with everyone promoted to Direct Eliminations.
Event open to all fencers aged Under 17 (year of birth 2006 and onwards) as at 1 January 2023. |
| Entry fee: | £45.00 (late entries +£20 at organisers discretion) (Includes BF ranking levy fee) |
| Entries close: | 1 January 2023 00:01. Late entries to 4 January at organisers discretion. Entries will be capped to assist with the smooth running of this event: Boys 66 – Girls 36 |
| Check-ins Close: | Men’s Epee – 09:00 Women’s Epee – 09:30 |
| Cancellations/Withdrawals: | In the event that the organisers are required to cancel the event, all entry fees will be refunded less non-recoverable costs (approx. £4). Fencers may cancel/withdraw from the event before the closing date (1st January 2023) and will receive a refund less non-recoverable costs (approx. £4). Cancellations/withdrawals after this date may not be refunded. |
| Requirements: | BF ‘Compete’ level membership is required. All fencing clothing and equipment must comply with BF regulations (see guidelines). Ideally all fencers will need to use size 5 epees, but can use smaller sizes. |
| Referees: | We require level 2 or higher Epee referees. Full details including expenses, fees and accommodation can be found here. |
| Car Parking: | There is onsite parking at the leisure centre, although this can get busy at times. There are several car parks in local proximity with a short walk to the leisure centre. Parking is free on Sunday up to 3 hours. Over 3 hours a charge of £4.00 applies. Get your ticket on arrival. THE MACHINES ARE CASH ONLY! |
